This Privacy Policy outlines PONTBLYDDYN CRICKET CLUB (The Club) practices with respect to information collected from users who access our website at www.pontblyddyncc.org.uk (The Site) or otherwise share personal information with us.

Pontblyddyn Cricket Club is a non-profit making club, the income and property of the which shall be applied solely towards promoting the club’s objectives as set forth in the constitution and no portion thereof shall be paid or transferred, directly or indirectly, to members of the club.

Pontblyddyn Cricket Club holds information of a personal nature about its members, customers, and employees.

Pontblyddyn Cricket Club will hold personal data as required to legitimately operate its business by keeping records of its members, trading, and employment activities. Pontblyddyn Cricket Club makes every effort to ensure that data held on its members and employees is valid, accurate, sufficient, and appropriate for the purpose(s) intended.


What information do we collect?


Personal data is information which can be used to identify individuals that may be members, customers, or employees of Pontblyddyn Cricket Club and may include name, address, telephone number and email address etc. 

The data stored will be used for keeping records of members, customers and employees with legitimate employment and will only be shared with legitimate partners and authorities and not with others for marketing or other purposes unless the member, customer employee knowingly consents to do so. Player names with associated personal and match statistics will be shared the publicly accessible “Play Cricket” website as operated by the English & Wales Cricket Board (ECB).


How do we receive information about you?


We receive your Personal Information from various sources:

  • When you voluntarily provide us with your personal details in order to register on our Site;
  • When you use or access our Site in connection with your use of our services;

  1. Receive confirmation as to whether personal information concerning you is being processed and access your stored personal information, together with supplementary information.

How do we safeguard your information?


Information is stored in password protected electronic database systems. Paper copies may also be stored securely and accessed by management committee members and employees.

In the event of a breach, unauthorised use, or loss of data Pontblyddyn Cricket Club undertakes to inform the appropriate authorities and the persons concerned within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.


Minors


We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. The Site is not designed for or directed at children. Under no circumstances shall we allow the use of our services by minors without prior consent or authorisation by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at membership@pontblyddyncc.org.uk .
