Pontblyddyn Cricket Club
Our Teams
Everyone is welcome at Pontblyddyn
We are a fully diverse and inclusive club, welcoming players of all ages, sex, and standard. We play in the North Wales cricket league and have junior teams in the age groups, under 9, 11., 13 and under 15 .
We have three senior teams, our 1st team playing in the NWCL 1st division, 2nd team in division two, our 3rd team play in the North Wales Sunday league and introduces our younger players to the longer format of the senior game and helps develop them in to our players of the future.
In 2024 we have a newly formed ladies team playing in the North Wales Ladies league , so if any ladies are interested please contact us:
Junior Training is on a Friday at 6:30, BBQ & Bar will be open, boys & girls of all standards are welcome.
If you've not been before or are new to cricket please come and meet us and give it a go to see if you enjoy it.

Rhys Jones, club captain and stalwart is selected for Wales over 50s
(summer 2023)
Congratulations to Rhys on his selection for the Wales over 50 team.
Having played in three county championship games earlier this year he is in the squad for the upcoming matches against, India, USA & England.
Jenny Thompson & Ladies Cricket @Pont
Sunday 30th July
On Sunday 30th July we were pleased to welcome Jenny Thompson to Pontblyddyn CC where she joined in with a training session and short game with our newly formed ladies team.
Jenny is travelling the world and "aiming to become the worlds most travelled female cricketer"
Jenny has since moved on to many other countries, follow her very well documented journey on her Facebook page.
